Finally back on the net after a weekend of no new music. What would deejays do without the internet? I took the extra time to organize my existing music collection. I’m a bit of a pack rat when it comes to mp3s, and although I’ve always known I wouldn’t use all the music I kept on my hard drive, I continued to think it might come in handy someday. But this weekend I cleaned house.
I came across some old remixes, blends, and mashups that I created prior to deciding to pursue edm deejaying exclusively, so I’m thinking I’ll share those with the world in the next few days. Unfortunately, modern hip hop/pop music doesn’t have much of a shelf life, so although my work is P-I-M-P, its pretty dated.
In the meantime, I’m going to use the rest of the evening to finish what I started. We’ll get this blog rolling again in the morning.
