Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh noooooooo they didn’t!!! St. Louis stand up! In less than a month, the city that knows how to get down will play host to the Robotown Getdown presented by Fifty Foot Robots. This rave comes highly anticipated and if the turnout and performances stand up to the excitement being generated by the Robotown lineup, then we’re all in for a treat! This event will take place at a virgin location with directions and location to be announced the day of the event. Of course, I’ll release these details from my Twitter feed as soon as they are released, so make sure you follow me on Twitter and tune in early May 16. Headliners include Supernaut, Deviant Soundsystem, Sir Kutz!, Eidolon, and John Bourke.
I’m definitely psyched to get down to the sound of Crux’s Deviant Soundsystem. Bryan Cox knows how to pick em and he did a great job of selecting these guys to represent his label. Here’s a few hot Deviant tracks for you to drop on your dancefloor this week.
Deviant Soundsystem – Filth and Funk (Original Mix)
Deviant Soundsystem – Jump (Backwards Bootleg)
Chris James – Chop It Up (Deviant Soundsystem Mix)
That last one is a 128 – fyi… if you know where we can get a 320, then spill the beans in the comments section. As far as I know, Chop It Up can’t be purchased anywhere.
Anyway, I’d normally break down each artist’s MySpace and website information to allow you to show some luv, but I’m definitely going to call lazy and direct you instead to the Robotown Getdown MySpace event page which has all the information you’ll want. Also be sure to let em know if you plan on attending by leaving a RSVP.

And about the rest of the lineup… check out this flyer dude.
