electro blogs
Here we are back again with our list of Top Clubbin’ Blogs. Last year, we rocked the Top 8. This year we’re going to bump it up to nine and kill the honorable mentions. I’m not going to lie, the selection process has been a challenge. You’ll notice right away some big names missing from this year’s list, but I’m not here to kiss ass. As a deejay and blogger, the blogs represented here are the Crème de la Crème. They always provide new, fresh, interesting content, and of course, you can count on these blogs for the latest dancefloor bangers.

Let’s get it started after the break >>

Electro Music Blogs
Seems like all the blogs are doing their thang this week with year-end “Top Of” posts but since I haven’t been blogging a full year yet, it wouldn’t be kosher to present a Top Songs of 2008 list. Born Slippy
To bring Big Monday to a close, I wanted to share with you a recent list of the 100 Best Dance Tracks Ever as chosen by listeners of Belgium’s most popular electro radio show, “Switch.” There is definitely a European flair to the list. From an American perspective, I would rank songs like “Around the World,” “Kernkraft 400,” and “Show Me Love” much higher, but all in all, its a nice list. Here’s the top ten…

#01 – underworld – born slippy
#02 – laurent garnier – the man with the red face
#03 – chemical brothers – hey boy hey girl
#04 – faithless – insomnia
#05 – daft punk – around the world
#06 – vitalic – la rock 01
#07 – jaydee – plastic dreams
#08 – new order – blue monday
#09 – prodigy – no good (start the dance)
#10 – justice vs simian – never be alone

I find it interesting Tiesto is no where to be found on the Top 100. Does that mean he’s a little overrated? I dunno… :)
