Notorious opened in theaters Friday and it is already being called a “puff piece.” Lack of critical praise is the least of Bad Boy’s worries, however, because it seems to me people just aren’t into the whole West Coast vs. East Coast thing anymore. Here’s a little something for the earbuds while you’re chillin at the office trying to get some work done. The song is “Cold Dust Girl” by Hey Champ, and I just can’t get it out of my head. Is this on MTV? It should be.
To bring Big Monday to a close, I wanted to share with you a recent list of the 100 Best Dance Tracks Ever as chosen by listeners of Belgium’s most popular electro radio show, “Switch.” There is definitely a European flair to the list. From an American perspective, I would rank songs like “Around the World,” “Kernkraft 400,” and “Show Me Love” much higher, but all in all, its a nice list. Here’s the top ten…
